Hag torches are nothing new. They have been used since man discovered the need for fire and light. They have been called by many names…Witch’s taper, Jupiter’s rod, hag torch, King’s candle…but what are they?
In this case, they are made from the dried stalks of the mullein plant. Mullein is native to the Ozarks and grows wild on our farm in clean, chemical-free ground. We allow the stalk to complete it’s life cycle and dry naturally. We then harvest the dried stalk and dip it in pure, raw beeswax. Our beeswax is sourced from a small neighboring farm that raises bees and we know it is as clean and pure as possible. 
We then roll it in the desired herb/resin/flower and re-dip them several times to ensure that the herbs remain in place and don’t dislodge while the torch is burning. Herbs are wonderful additions for enhancing your rituals, cleaning the air, smudging, or as an alternative to burning traditional incense.
If you prefer a plain beeswax torch we are happy to accommodate you. If you would like an herb, resin or flower added to your torch, you can choose up to 3 herbs at no extra charge. Just be sure to let us know exactly what you want and we will happily accommodate you!

Rest assured that our herbs, resins and flowers are all clean, pure, high quality herbs, either certified organic or wild-crafted from our own farm. 
The result is hah torch that burns clean and releases absolutely nothing into the air that is harmful or dangerous!
We suggest burning these outdoors, as the flame can get quite large. We really wouldn’t want to hear that one of our torches set your indoor space on fire!
Torches burn at approximately 1 inch every 10-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the torch. That means that our small torches will burn for 30-45 minutes, our medium for 1-1 1/2 hours, and our large for up to 2 hours. If you don’t use the entire torch, you can simply tamp it out and save the rest for later.
